SENIOR STAFF
PAPA Camp is staffed by Senior Staffers who are responsible for the programming, development and administration of PAPA camp. Senior Staff includes the Camp Director, Music Director, Musical Theatre Director, CIT Program Director, Dance Director, Visual Arts Director, Camp Nurse, Lifeguard, Senior Counselors and more! Senior Staffers return to camp year after year to create memorable experiences for Counselors, CITs and campers. Bios coming soon!
COUNSELORS
PAPA Camp Counselors are responsible for the well-being of the 4 – 8 campers (and 1 CIT) who stay in a cabin for the duration of camp. Counselors plan cabin activities, help campers establish routines, check in with campers throughout the day and create lasting memories for their campers. Counselors come to camp with a variety of theatre-related skills and experiences and both lead teach and assistant teach Electives and Workshops.
PAPA Camp CITs are 16 and 17 year old campers who are interested in taking a leadership role at PAPA Camp. CIT responsibilities include checking in with campers throughout the day and working together with Counselors to create memorable experiences for their campers and for themselves. CITs have opportunities to assist with activities and also lead. Many CITs become future Counselors.
GUEST ARTISTS
Guest artists are an important and fun addition to the camp experience. Guest artists may come to camp for 1 day or for a few days to teach specialized workshops. Tai Chi, Theatre History, Acting for the Camera, and Voice are examples of guest artist workshops.
